Frequently asked questions
Thank you for looking through the FAQ. We hope it answers any questions you may have
about how we work. If you still have questions please contact us, and we will be
very happy to assist. -
I am a new customer how do I get started? If you are in one of the areas we deliver to (see below) please go ahead and place your order via the Shopping pages.
What areas do you deliver to? Ely and the surrounding villages and central and northern Cambridge. If in doubt please contact us.
When do you deliver? We deliver to Cambridge on Thursday afternoon and to the Ely area on Friday.
How do I order? If possible please order online using the Shopping pages. Please contact us if you have any difficulty.
When must I get my order in? We need to have your order by 6 pm on Tuesday for delivery on Thursday or Friday.
I do not want to order online, is there an alternative? If you would rather order by phone, give us a call and we will be very happy to take your order verbally.
Is VAT included in prices? Yes, all prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
Is there a delivery charge? No, prices include delivery.
Is there a minimum order value? There is a minimum order value of £15 on all orders which we will waive if you include one of our ‘standard’ veg boxes.
What if I am out when you call? If you cannot be at home when we deliver please let us know where your order can be safely left and where we can collect your payment. There is a message box you can use at the foot of your online order or give us a ring.
How do I pay? You can pay by cheque or cash or, if you use online banking, you can
pay by bank transfer -
I want to pay using my online banking. What account should I pay into? The Greengage account details are:

I order the same thing every week, can I give you a standing order? Yes, please contact us to discuss your requirements.
What if I am away on holiday for a week or two? No problem -
I order a standard veg box but hate broccoli -
What if I have ordered something & you are out of stock? If we are unable to supply an item you have ordered we will note it on your invoice and adjust the value on your next order.
