‘Us' is mostly me, Katie Betts, ex-teacher, mum and organic enthusiast, with a lot of support from my husband and family. We are based in the hamlet of Chettisham, a mile north of Ely, Cambridgeshire.

We have an acre including garden,  an orchard and a paddock, home to our two pet South Down sheep.

I was brought up in Wales on a small-holding, where my parents grew masses of organic fruit and veg and my father was a dedicated bee-keeper.

I have attempted to hold onto the ‘green’ principles they taught me but having commuted to Cambridge for many years I understand the pressures that working  parents are under.

Now that I've left teaching, I want to work locally, supporting local growers in bringing my customers the best selection of fruit, veg and other farm produce available from around the region.
